Events Manager

Description

High Output is looking to add to our special events production team an individual with skills focused in live, corporate, and broadcast event management. This position requires the ability to manage show staff, while simultaneously working in a professional manner with clients as the face of High Output. The ideal candidate would have experience with event production in multiple departments, as well as stage management experience. Touring production management experience is a plus. This position is locally-based but will occasionally require some travel.

Qualifications

 Professional interpersonal skills and efficient time management are required.

Other qualifying skillsets include:

  • Vectorworks proficiency

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to manage staff in execution of show-related tasks

  • Familiarity with all aspects of live event equipment

Complete knowledge of these systems is highly desired, but some on-the-job training will be available.

Compensation 

Salary is commensurate with experience and a benefits package is offered to all full-time employees. Working hours (in the office and onsite) vary according to the season; week, weekend, late night and early morning hours are necessary and are variable. A personal vehicle and valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must be able to pass DOT physical and lift 50lbs unassisted.

Account Manager: Technical Rentals/Live Events

Description

Exciting career opportunity with High Output, LLC, a leading supplier of production services and equipment for the events industry. Are you interested in an opportunity to work with producers, designers, and technicians? Are you excited by new technology? Are you a proven problem solver who is happy in a fast-moving environment? If you answered yes, then you might be our next account manager! In this position, you will work with new and returning clients to create rental production orders that meet their needs. You will manage the client relationship through all phases of a project, coordinating with in-house and external stakeholders to ensure that we meet and exceed client expectations.

The Account Manager must possess field experience and have worked extensively on-site in the events industry, preferably with a lighting background. This is a full-time in office position, based in Canton, Massachusetts.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits package offered includes health, dental, paid time off, and 401k.

Pimary Responsibilities (Include but not limited to)

  • Collaborate with event planners to understand technical requirements for each event.

  • Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary equipment and services.

  • Must be able to easily reach out to other team members for support

  • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise and find solutions quickly.

  • Ensure that all technical aspects of the event meet high-quality standards.

  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies related to event production.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience, including on-site field production experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Knowledge of logistics

  • Experience with client management and customer service

  • Good aptitude, attitude, and to easily relate and connect with clients

  • Experience with a wide range of lighting, grip, and A/V equipment is a plus, especially lighting control systems and power distribution equipment

Audio Visual Installer and Technician

Description

High Output is looking for a professional and enthusiastic AV Installer/Technician to assist with the installation and service of audio-visual infrastructure, distributed AV, speakers, amplifiers and other audio components, video screens or digital signage as well as installation of other video signal components and cabling. The AV Installer will occasionally lead small AV projects with a crew of no more than 3 onsite. An ideal candidate is good-natured, approaches challenges with a positive attitude, enjoys working in a dynamic team-oriented environment and is able to prioritize work effectively. The job requires time at the office in Canton and getting to job sites. We work extensively throughout the New England so reliable transportation is necessary. We reimburse for mileage and other travel related expenses to/from project sites.

A/V Sales and Design Associate

Description

High Output is seeking an experienced professional who is comfortable working in all aspects of AV systems integration:  meeting with clients to determine project requirements; develop efficient designs; and create budgets and bids for projects involving both audio and video components.

High Output works in the corporate, educational, entertainment and worship communities helping to create exciting spaces for communication, learning, and entertainment.

You will have experience with design/build projects as well as consultant-designed projects. Committed to exceeding client expectations, you will follow your projects from concept to conclusion, including design, development, quotation, and ultimately supervision of the installation itself. This involves coordinating with in-house teams as well as manufacturers, contractors, and installers to keep our projects on time and on budget.

You will be an organized self-starter who can simultaneously manage multiple projects on multiple timelines without missing a beat. Prior AV installation or design experience desired; proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks strongly preferred. 

Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried position.  Starting salary and bonus compensation package will be commensurate with experience and a benefits package is offered to all full-time employees.

Delivery Driver Class A

High Output is looking for a motivated and flexible driver with CDL Class A license to be a full time delivery driver. 

Drivers will be making deliveries primarily in Eastern Massachusetts, but also around New England. Our delivery vehicles include vans, stake bodies, 24’ box trucks and tractor trailers. Many deliveries include towing small trailers. A good driving record is required.  Some late night and weekend work required.  We offer a full benefits package. This is a full time position with frequent overtime hours. 

Knowledge of the entertainment lighting or media production industry is helpful but not required. 

Applicants should be well-organized, motivated, dependable, able to work with an existing system and take on new responsibilities as their contributions to the company increase.

Freelance Overhire Opportunities

High Output, Inc. is looking to add skilled and knowledgeable individuals to our overhire list in all areas of technical event production including lighting, audio, video, and rigging. Positions are offered on an event-by-event basis for projects throughout the year. Duties will include loading and unloading trucks, setting up, operating, and breaking down various equipment on site, and other department specific tasks. Candidates should be able to lift 50lbs, be on their feet for extended periods of time, follow instructions carefully, and be positive, punctual, and proactive team members.
